Commissioning of equipment for post-treatment and preparation of drinking water

On March 24, 2017, the company’s employees performed installation, cold tests, load tests, commissioning works at the site, followed by the commissioning of equipment for post-treatment of drinking water and an automatic in-line mixing line for obtaining various types of product water. In a complex solution, the technologies of mechanical filtration, ion exchange on strong acid and weak acid ion exchangers, reverse osmosis, and circulation disinfection by ultraviolet radiation are applied. The whole complex is controlled by Siemens industrial logic controller. A feature of the system was the time to reach operating parameters when changing the formulation of product water: with the planned 7-10 minutes, the result was achieved in 2-3 minutes, which gave a significant saving of all resources.
