Commissioning of the plant for the production and dosing of chlorine dioxide

On February 15, 2017, as part of the internal strategy for the use of advanced drinking water disinfection methods by the Chernomorskvodokanal utility company, our company’s employees successfully installed the Oxiperm OCD-164 chlorine dioxide production and dosing unit, manufactured by Grundfos (Germany), additionally equipped with a protective box and supply tanks. This disinfection technology is an alternative to classical chlorination, which excludes the formation of the strongest carcinogens in drinking water – volatile organochlorine compounds – subject to control in accordance with the current regulatory legislation.
