Deironing and water softening station for the needs of a food business

Water in the factory is used to wash berries, fruits and vegetables before they are frozen. At the same time, special nozzles of technological equipment became consumers of purified water.

Sodium hypochlorite reagent was used for effective iron removal. Mechanical filtration was used for mechanical filtration of the formed precipitate of ferric compounds. And for partial water softening, the technology of ion exchange on strong acid cation exchange resin is used. Disinfection of water is organized using the already used reagent based on sodium hypochlorite with constant monitoring of residual active chlorine at the control points of technological processes.

Thus, standard technological solutions have been successfully adapted to meet the needs of non-standard and dissimilar water consumers.
