Installation of nitric acid storage tank

При модернізації харчового підприємства, у Замовника виникла необхідність заміни існуючої ємності для зберігання азотної кислоти, що втратила щільність та системно ставала причиною втрати реагенту та порушенню норм безпечності виробництва, на нову – об’ємом 10 м³ з полімеру, стійкого до азотної кислоти з концентрацією 56% та температурою зберігання до +40 °С .

In order to reduce the time of work in the existing food company, reduce labor costs and, accordingly, reduce the cost of the project, the company’s engineers together with representatives of the Customer have developed an appropriate PVR. Also, all existing pipe communications were preserved, the condition of which allowed their further use.

The main features of the new tank are:

• two-layer design of the tank: the use of two polymeric materials not only increased the structural reliability of the tank, but also reduced its cost (for the structural integrity is responsible for the outer polymer, and for chemical resistance – the inner).
• no “excitation” of the acid surface when filling the tank and too fast pumping time from the tank – due to the special design of the filling line of the tank using the principle of “airlift”.
• the possibility of almost complete draining with a flat-bottomed type of tank: if the residue is required during emptying no more than 0.2% of the volume, the real balance was 0.05 – 0.06%.

To ensure quality and safe operation, the tank is equipped with the necessary fittings, instrumentation, pumping equipment, washing heads, drainage systems for complete draining of detergents, service area, etc.
