Water treatment system for production needs.

This water treatment system consists of: mechanical filtration and reverse osmosis.

Before entering the mechanical filtration unit, the incoming water must be disinfected with a reagent for bactericidal treatment of the water stream and additional deironing. The dose of the reagent varies seasonally, depending on the current state of chlorine absorption of the incoming water. Dosing is carried out in proportion to the signal of the pulse flow meter installed before feeding into the tank.

The mechanical filtration unit is represented by 2 parallel filters loaded with filter material. The operation of each filter is controlled by an electrified automatic multi-way valve.

To remove filtered contaminants periodically, for each filter is backwashed with incoming water. The filters are washed alternately.

The filtrate after mechanical filters, the pressure flow is sent to the installation of reverse osmosis. Where it is first filtered through two cartridge filters.

The reverse osmosis unit consists of one unit. The concentrate of the reverse osmosis unit is discharged into the sewer. Permiate, concentrate and recycle productivity are regulated by concentrate and recycle diaphragm valves by opening or closing them, as well as by increasing or decreasing the working pressure.

To control the operating modes and prevent emergencies, the reverse osmosis unit is equipped with:

  1. pressure switch for protection against “dry running” of the high pressure pump;
  2. pressure sensor for monitoring the working pressure on the RO;
  3. pressure switch for protection against excess pressure in the permeate line;
  4. pressure sensor to protect against excess pressure in the concentrate line;
  5. conductometer for quality control of the received water and deduction of installation of the return osmosis on chemical washing;
  6. rotameters for visual control of permiate, concentrate and recirculation flows;
  7. permiate and concentrate meters for PC display and proportional dosing.

Control of the water treatment plant provides manual (remote) and automatic operation. The automatic control mode is performed using a Siemens controller with a pre-programmed algorithm.

Control of shut-off and regulating valves is carried out on electric or electromagnetic drives.
